Free In-Home Water Testing
Your municipal water report describes what left the treatment plant. It does not describe what comes out of your kitchen tap after miles of distribution main and your own plumbing. We measure the second one.

Specification
What is in it, and why.
- Hardness measured in grains per gallon
- The number that determines how your softener gets sized. Everything else follows from it.
- Total dissolved solids
- A direct readout of how much is actually dissolved in your drinking water.
- Chlorine and chloramine check
- Most Greater Houston surface-water supplies run chloramine, which behaves differently from free chlorine and needs more carbon contact time.
- pH and visual sediment check
- Plus a look at your water heater, fixtures and existing equipment while we are there.
What changes at home
The difference you actually notice.
- Takes about 20 minutes at your kitchen sink
- You get the numbers written down whether or not you buy anything

FAQs
Questions about water testing.
Is the test really free?
Yes, and there is no obligation. We would rather show a homeowner their actual numbers and be remembered than sell someone equipment they do not need.
Can I just send you my city water report?
You can, and we will read it. But utility reports are annual averages for an entire distribution system. Hardness at your specific tap is what we size to, and that requires a test at your house.
How do I book one?
Call or text (435) 881-7380, or send the form on this page. Most tests get scheduled within two business days.
