We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website, contacts us by phone or text, uses our AI chat assistant, or communicates with us electronically. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By submitting information to us, you are consenting to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a form on our site, request a free water test, or message our AI chat assistant, we may collect your name, address, email, phone number, city, and any details you share about your water or your home.

Information from your phone call or text. If you call or text the number listed on this site, we may keep a record of that conversation for customer service and quality purposes.

Information from your browser. Like most websites, our server automatically logs standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. If we add advertising or analytics tools such as a Meta Pixel, that tool may set cookies or use similar technology to track ad performance and site activity, as described in the Cookies section below.

Our AI chat assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant that can answer questions about our services and help you book a free water test. When you use it, the messages you type are sent to Anthropic (the company that provides the underlying AI model) to generate a response, and to our own systems so we can follow up if you request a quote or a booking. Do not share sensitive information such as payment details in the chat — it is not designed to collect payment information and none is requested there.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your questions and requests; schedule and confirm a free water test or service appointment; provide you with a quote; follow up by phone, text, or email about your request; and improve our website and services. We do not use your information to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Calls and text messages

By submitting your phone number through our website, our chat assistant, or by calling or texting us directly, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Ascend Water Co. related to your inquiry, quote, or appointment, including from an automatic telephone dialing system where applicable. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us directly by phone or email. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchasing any service from us.

Who we share information with

We do not rent, sell, or share your personal information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do share information with the service providers that help us operate our business, including: our website host and form-processing provider (Netlify); our customer relationship and scheduling platform (currently GoHighLevel, or its equivalent); and the AI provider used by our chat assistant (Anthropic). If we run advertising through Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Meta may receive information about your visit through tools such as the Meta Pixel, subject to Meta's own privacy practices. We will disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ascend Water Co., our customers, or others.

Cookies and similar technology

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help a website function and to measure how it is used. Our site may use cookies for basic functionality and, where enabled, for advertising measurement tools such as a Meta Pixel, which helps us understand which ads led to a visit or a request. Our website and services are directed at adults seeking water treatment services for their homes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
