Everything above, split across two tanks — a full softening bed and a dedicated carbon bed of its own.

$500 is the entire difference between them. On the $3,500 build, softening resin and carbon share one tank. On the $4,000 build, each gets a tank of its own — which mainly buys you carbon contact time, and that is what determines how much chloramine actually comes out. Same media, same tankless reverse osmosis, same lifetime warranty. We tell you at the water test which one your home calls for, and most of the time the answer is the $3,500 build.

Ask any competitor for this list in writing before you compare quotes. Resin volume, carbon volume and valve type are what actually separate systems — not brand names.
- Whole-home softener
- 75 lbs of USA-made 10% crosslinked NSF-certified softening resin. 48,000 grain capacity in a 15" x 52" media tank, sized to your measured hardness.
- Carbon filtration
- 15 lbs of NSF-certified granular activated coconut shell carbon for chlorine and chloramine reduction.
- Polishing gravel underbed
- NSF-certified gravel supporting the resin bed for even flow and no channeling.
- Ascend ProValve
- Ceramic-disc control valve, 28 GPM through a 1" bypass. Regenerates on actual water use instead of on a timer, with 72-hour memory backup.
- AW800 AlkaPro tankless RO
- Seven-stage, 800 GPD reverse osmosis with an alkaline remineralizer and a dedicated faucet, installed and sealed.
- Licensed installation
- Performed by a TCEQ-licensed water treatment specialist or licensed plumber. 3–5 hours, packaging hauled away.
- Bypass valve & pressure test
- Full system programming and a pressure test before we leave, plus a walkthrough so you know how it runs.
- Lifetime warranty
- Tanks, valves, housings and major components, for as long as you own the system. Transfers if you sell.

Softener only, or a pre-sediment stage.
Not every home needs the same build. If you already have drinking water handled, we can quote a softener-and-carbon system on its own. If you are on a groundwater MUD or a private well pushing sand and grit, a pre-sediment stage in front of the system is cheap insurance.
Both get quoted at the free water test, once we know your hardness, your household size and what your supply is actually doing. We are not going to publish a number for a system we have not sized yet.

Pricing questions.
Is $3,500 really the whole price?
Yes. Standard installation, bypass valve, programming, full pressure test, walkthrough and the lifetime warranty are all inside that number. There is no separate installation charge, no activation fee and no maintenance contract you have to sign. If anything about your home makes the install non-standard — a long run to the garage, a slab situation, a second point of entry — we tell you at the water test, in writing, before you decide anything.
Is this a sale price? How long is it good for?
It is not a sale price. It is the price. It was the price last month and it is the price next month. We publish it here so you can compare before anyone sets foot in your kitchen, which is the opposite of how this industry usually works.
Why is it cheaper than the quotes I have been getting?
Because you are not paying for a commissioned in-home closer, a nationwide dealer network or a finance markup baked into a monthly payment. We are a small Katy company. The equipment is NSF-certified and assembled in Texas, and the install is done by a licensed specialist. The savings come out of the sales process, not the system.
What is the $4,000 dual-tank system, and do I need it?
It is the same system split across two tanks. On the $3,500 build, softening resin and carbon share one vessel. On the dual-tank build, the resin gets a full tank and the carbon gets a full tank of its own. That mainly buys carbon contact time, which is what determines how much chloramine comes out of the water — so it is the build to ask about if your complaint is taste or a smell in the shower rather than scale on the faucet. It also keeps full grain capacity for larger homes. Most homes do not need it, and we will say so.
What if I only want a softener and not the drinking water system?
We can do that, and we quote it at your free water test once we know your hardness and household size. Most people who plan to add reverse osmosis later end up wishing they had done both at once, which is why the Complete Home System is what we lead with.
Do you offer financing?
We can point you to options, but we quote you a total price first — never a monthly payment instead of a number. A payment quoted in place of a price is one of the oldest tricks in this business.
What is not included?
Pre-sediment filtration is an add-on, priced at the visit, and we only recommend it when your supply actually calls for it. Salt is yours to buy and runs most homes one to two 40 lb bags a month. Filter changes on the RO run every 6 to 12 months. That is the full list — there is nothing else waiting for you later.
